Course objectives
Understanding the drug discovery process and its phases. Discuss in terms of structure-activity/property relationships (QSAR/QSPR) the pharmacodynamic and ADME-Tox behavior of some classes of drugs.

Acquisition of the concept of drug and its characterization parameters. Acquisition of the concept of the multidisciplinarity and interdisciplinarity of the drug discovery process through the study of selected drug classes. Knowledge of some of the main experimental and computational methodologies used in medicinal chemistry.

The course will be delivered in remote presence according to the guidelines provided by the Department and University.
Students can attend to the lessons using Moodle. The registration is free and mandatory to access to the course material and link to remote lessons.
A student is required to attain at least 75% of the attendance for lectures, tutorials and practical sessions of the course (in classroom or in remote presence).
