Results of learning outcomes

The formative path of this course leads to the ability of understanding and evaluating the critical parameters to be considered during the scale up of a pharmaceutical routes from laboratory to pilot plant according to SELECT (Safety, Environmental, Legal, Economic, Control, Throughput) rules.

By the end of the course, students will be able to apply the acquired knowlwedge to simple scale up problems and to competently discuss about process development issues with experts in the field.
